ROSS PARRY SYNDICATION: Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a mum-of-three who was found dead in the early hours of Sunday morning at her home.

The body of Ann Gethen, 39, of Goldthorpe, near Rotherham, South Yorks., was found the day after she announced on Facebook that she was engaged to be married.

Several messages of condolences have been posted on a social networking page, including one that read "RIP Ann, my thoughts are with your family at this sad time."

Police confirmed they had launched a murder investigation following the results of a post mortem examination was carried out on Sunday night.

The results of the post-mortem exam have not been revealed. Detectives investigating the murder are appealing for witnesses or anyone who could have any information about the killing to contact them.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with her murder.

A 38-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail.
